I am a seasoned artist who pursues portraiture and finely detailed printmaking in a variety of media and processes. I am continuously fascinated by the capture of feathers, fur, fine lines, and hair. Especially as I have explored letterpress and linocut in particular, I push the boundaries of what linocut should be able to support: I strive toward reaching my vision with knife blade and carving block what I have also achieved with pencil line and shading.
