LAPS is excited to move our studio into the Bendix Building, connecting us to the Los Angeles Downtown Art Walk and culture, and to be among a cohort of galleries and artist studios, including Track 16 gallery on the 1st floor of the building.
The LAPS studio space spans 600 square feet, with a Sturgess etching press, Conrad tabletop press, worktables, flat file storage, and a library of printmaking catalogs and resources. Select inks, papers, and other materials may also be available.
There is a common shop sink on the same floor as our studio space and men’s and women’s bathrooms on each floor that is accessible with a key that is kept in the studio. There is a loading dock that can be used during the week and on Saturdays half day.
Bendix has its own parking garage. Cost is $5 for half hour or $15 max per day. Street parking is available and several other parking structures are very close.
