Print Day in May is an annual, global celebration of printmaking taking place on the first Saturday in May and is open to all. On that day, tens of thousands of printmakers around the world make prints and share their experiences with others. This year, LAPS officially joins Print Day in May as a sponsor. Non-LAPS members have a chance to win a one-year membership ($50 value) if they post their work on the Facebook or Instagram pages linked above and include the hashtag #lapspd2022

There are four ways to participate:

1. Register on the PDiM website to be officially listed as a PDiM participant. You’ll be able to post text and images on the blog, see your name on the Participants page, and receive up to six emailed newsletters per year.
2. Join on Instagram. Follow PDiM for the latest news and be sure to share your own contributions using the #printdayinmay hashtag. Be sure to tag the PDiM sponsors as well to be eligible for prizes!
3. Follow PDiM on Facebook and join the Print Day in May Printmakers group to join in the conversation with other printmakers. Be sure to tag the sponsors as well to be eligible for prizes!
4. Simply print on your own or with others on the first Saturday in May and enjoy the experience of knowing that you are joining a community of tens of thousands of printmakers worldwide!
