Faculty of and students matriculated in printmaking programs may apply

The Los Angeles Printmaking Society Foundation, the philanthropic branch of
LAPS, will be awarding grant monies to qualified students enrolled in Printmaking
programs at institutes of higher learning in early 2022.

Scholarships will be awarded as follows: the Barbara Frankel $1,000 Grant for one outstanding printmaking student and awards in smaller amounts up to $2,000 for other selected applicants. Students will complete an application form placed in their portfolios stating how the Grant will be of help in pursuing your educational and career goals, as well as plans for the future.

Applications for the grants will be available in early January, 2022. Complete information and other reminders will be sent out before the portfolio reviews happen after midterms, sometime in April, 2022. This gives students an opportunity to have prints ready for the portfolio submission.
